Over the past few weeks we have seen the Hogsthorpe Volunteers running errands for residents in lockdown and raising spirits by organising events for young and old such as a 'Stay at Home VE Day Party' and even a 'thank you' virtual cocktail party.

Kerry Stafford, one of the volunteers, said: "We are excited to announce our volunteer group, which was set up at the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, is now going on to become a permanent group.

The volunteers are working in conjunction with the YMCA and Community Lincs and have delivered a survey to homes to gather information on what services and activities people would like to see going forward.

"We are also asking if anyone would like to volunteer for any of the activities."
