New traffic and planning notices affecting local towns in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire County Council has published a series of new public notices and traffic regulation proposals that could soon affect drivers, residents and businesses across several towns.
Among the notices listed on the council’s public portal, as published by Lincolnshire World, are multiple Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) covering roads in and around the county. These orders are often linked to planned works, restrictions or speed limit changes and require legal advertising ahead of implementation.
In Skegness, residents should be aware of proposed waiting restrictions and changes in streets including St Andrew’s Drive, Lumley Avenue, Richmond Drive and Denham Close — all listed in traffic regulation orders published by the council.
In Boston, a Traffic Regulation Order for George Street is set to begin this month, with works expected to last several days and may lead to short-term disruption. Public Notice Portal

Other TROs affecting the wider area include restrictions and proposed speed limit changes on stretches of the A158 at Gunby and the A158/A52 junctions, as well as orders affecting roads in Benington, Kirton End, Fosdyke and Donington, which could impact journeys around the town centres and rural roads over the coming weeks.
In addition to roads notices, the county’s public notices page shows several definitive map modification orders (DMMOs) — legal changes to public rights of way — in areas such as Glentworth, Bucknall, Rabisby and Woodhall Spa, which may be of interest to walkers and rights-of-way users.
