‘We live today because they gave their all’: Skegness Academy student’s moving tribute to the brave
Skegness Academy has shared a moving poem written by a student for Remembrance Sunday.
Year 12 President, Thomas Shaw, captures the spirit of reflection and gratitude, honouring those who have served and sacrificed.
The school has thanked him on social media for “representing the Skegness Academy with such thoughtfulness and dignity”.
This morning (Armistice Day) the whole of the Skegness Academy community stood silent to mark Remembrance.
They thanked Norman and Shirley from the Skegness Silver Band for going along to support the occasion.
