'Wear it pink' day raises £176 for Cancer Research

A 'wear it pink day' held in Skegness has raised £176 for Cancer Research.

The event was held at Frank Wood Funeralcare, when staff wore pink and cakes and refreshments were on sale.

It was organised by funeral director Sarah Nothdurft who said she was thrilled with the support.

She explained: "My dad was sadly diagnose with cancer in March 2020 and his treatment has been delayed due to the Covid pandemic, so every penny helps the people we love and the charity to hopefully find a cure."
