The Member of the European Parlianment, who is running for the South Thanet seat in Kent, delivered the speeches at the town’s Haven High Academy in support of UKIP’s candidate for Boston and Skegness, Robin Hunter-Clarke.

Organisers say 800 people attended across the two meetings.

Mr Farage spoke on such subjects as the fishing industry, defence and immigration, saying ‘probably no other town in England has been more fundamentally changed in the last 10 years by open door immigration than Boston’.

His speech was interspersed with numerous rounds of applause from the audience.
