Pools closed as boilers installed at centre
The swimming pools at the Geoff Moulder Leisure Centre will be closed on Monday as the council has new biomass boilers installed.
The authority has confirmed the leisure and training pools will be closed between 7.30am-4pm for the works to be carried out.
The new boilers are hoped to save energy and costs for the council.

Hide AdAs part of the closure, the noon to 1pm 50+ aqua-fit session has been cancelled.
The pools will reopen for 4pm swimming lessons, 5.30pm to 7pm for general swimming, 7pm to 8pm adults-only swimming and 8pm to 8.50pm aqua-fit.
The gym, fitness classes, sauna, steam room and spa pool remain open as normal 7am to 9pm
