Scrub fire at Metheringham
A bonfire left unattended got out of hand and set fire tto scrubland in Metheringham yesterday (Sunday).
A crew from the village were called out just before midday to put out the fire using one hose.
About three square metres of scrubland were on fire, according to reports from the fire service, caused by controlled burning left unattended.
