Wheelchair walk

A wheelchair walk was held in aid of the Market Rasen Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis (Lincoln) Fund in 1979.

Mainly organised by Stan and Hilda Carver, of Coronation Road, the event raised £100.

Mrs Carver, an MS sufferer, was joined by Mrs Creasey, of Lammas Leas, for the walk.

With the help of St John Ambulance cadets, the group managed to complete the 11-mile route.

The walk started at Market Rasen Library and went to Middle Rasen and Lissington, before returning to town.
