Once the business had been dealt with, members enjoyed a quiz arranged by Carole and Rod Watts.

This was followed by a buffet.

Everyone is now looking forward to the club continuing to prosper.

Social group - Members of Wragby and District Social Group (formerly the Wragby branch of Disability Lincs), together with family members and friends, had their annual shopping trip to Freshney Place in Grimsby.

An extra warm welcome was extended to Margaret Clark who, after a lengthy stay in hospital followed by recuperation at home, joined the group for the first time since May.

The group provides an opportunity for the less able to get out and meet others for one morning each week for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat, a game or two of bingo, a sing along, quiz and various competitions.

The last Tuesday of each month is social time. Cooked lunches are provided for the first three months of the year.

Once the weather improves in April, coach outings are arranged to various places of interest, ending in December with a trip out to a garden centre for Christmas lunch.

Bowls club - Thelma Humberstone, a long-standing and active club member, was invited to present the trophies at Dove Park Bowls Club’s annual dinner, held at the Buzz Stop, on the Beehive Business Park in Rand.

Filled with suitable gifts for the various age groups and wrapped in festive paper, the boxes were sent on their way to Liberia, a country just recovering from the Ebola disease and where some children will now have the pleasure of receiving a gift to open at Christmas.
