Alvey team claim narrow indoor win
William Alvey School took part in the schools' indoor athletics tournament, run by Carre's Outreach.
In the first session, 15 small schools took part in a variety of track and field events, with Kirkby-La-Thorpe coming out on top.
In the second session it was the turn of the large schools, with Cranwell, St Botolph’s and William Alvey involved in an ultra-competitive contest.
However, the William Alvey team, pictured, triumphed by just two points.
