Boston Tennis Club members poised to re-start league action when possible

The recent wintry scenes created by the snow has taken over the outdoor courts at Boston Tennis Club making play outdoors difficult even if it was allowed.

The Bombay Brasserie Tennis Leagues, which are some of the internal leagues that are played at Boston Tennis Club, are still waiting for play to be allowed to re-commence.

The Evening and Weekend leagues have Jeremy George-Jones, Michal Chmielik, Calum McCaig and Dylan Baker in Group One, all of whom remain poised to play against each other when possible.

Whilst in Group Two, the players are Geoff Presland David Dunlop and Pawel Aranin.

Group three consists of Neil Buck, Philippe Servonat and Richard Parkins.

In the Bombay Brasserie Daytime Singles League, similarly to the Evening League, players are on their marks for the starting gun.

Group One consists of Jeremy George-Jones, Dan Scott, Phil Cosgriff and Richard Tupper.

Group Two has Geoff Presland, Dylan Baker and Philippe Servonat and in Group Three are John Tooley, Neil Buck and Sarah Ulyatt.

In the remaining Boston Tennis Club Internal League, The Daytime Doubles, John Gibson, Phi Cosgriff, Terry Mastin and Alan Vickers are in Group One at the start of play.

Richard Tupper, Sev Smura, Geoff Presland and Sushil Kumar make up Group Two.

Tennis fans await keenly for the time when tennis can resume.

Meanwhile this month’s Australian Open may give them something to keep occupied.

Boston Tennis Club are also holding spot the ball competitions on their website to keep members busy.
