BSC 1 look favourites for snooker title

Title hopefuls BSC 1 look like they'll take some stopping in the Snooker Farm Super League after recording another 8-0 win.

Against BSC 12, Brian Cox, Craig Fitter, Vince Fitter and Graham Cripsey all claimed successes.

Elsewhere in the Boston Snooker League Shodfriars 20 beat BSC 2 6-2. Tom Hill beat Gary Charlton amd Joe Welch beat Lee Ford, the second a black ball frame, while Daley Richardson drew with Daniel Hurling and Carl Rowe and Danny Newton also drew.

BSC 3 beat BSC 19 6-2. Chris Ellis and Robin Alexander drew, as did Neil Hutson and Nick Harwood. Andy Swan beat Luke Christian, followed by Nigel Robinson beating John Neary.

BSC 13 and BSC 4 couldn’t be separated again this week, drawing 4-4. Mario Richards lost to Craig Lee, Adam Brackenbury and Danny Horgan drew, Craig Elding beat Barry Cox and Adam Cartwright and James Shaw drew.

In the Lincolnshire Handyman Premier League, top-of-the-table BSC 10 suffered a defeat at the hands of second-place BSC 8, 5-3. Shaun Dunmore beat Carl Baily, Ian Dallywaters and Rick Ladds drew, Adam Norton beat Perry Pagden and Gary Dunmore and Dan Burt drew.

BSC 11 beat Shodfriars 3 5-3. Jamie Brinkley and Jim Ely drew, Steve Sharp and John Vines also drew, Julian Furnell beat Richard Crunkhorn and Andy Bush and Colin Woodcock drew.

BSC 9 beat Cons 2 6-2. Rob Johnson beat Dave Whyler, Carl Manning drew with G. Ruck, Mark Ferguson beat Keith Carrington and Chrissy Allwood and Dale Sawer drew.

In the Cotts Builders and Contractors Division One, BSC 5 stayed top of the league with a 5-3 win over Kirton 1. Paul Oyitch beat Steve Fletcher, Patrick Thornton and Wayne Burton drew, as did Pete Grooby and Ian Parnell. Sam Dawson was beaten by Kevin Lymer.

BSC 6 kept up their promotion chances beating BSC 6. Gordon Russell and Jason Pocklington drew, Alan Traynor beat Mark Haresign, Paul Argyle drew with Chris Hirst and Mike Deal secured the win by beating Adam Gurton.

Cons 4 and 5, both battling to stay in the league, met with the 4 winning 5-3. J. Clark beat Nathan Yardley, Dave Nundy lost to Alan Haycock, Lee Clayton beat Bill Spooner while J. Traves and Alan Yardley drew.

The Sam Dawson Building Services Division Two saw Graves Park go top of the league with a claimed game over BSC 17.

West End went second by beating BSC 14, 6-2. R. Mason beat Stuart Whitaker, D. Green beat A. Baines and then C. Mason beat Matt Povey. Ben Wrigglesworth pulled two back for the 14, beating J. Bell.

BSC 15 beat Kirton 2 5-3. Stu Holland drew with Dan Thompson, as did Dave Cartwright with Nathan Cock.Ian Russell beat Shaun Thompson and Chris Vere and Darran Jessop drew.
