Defeats for Boston CC Seconds and Thirds

Boston CC's Seconds began their SLBL Premier Division campaign with defeat at Sleaford Seconds.

Half centuries from Ben Lambert (54) and Kieran Harbron (52) helped the hosts post 198 before being dismissed in the 44th over.

Conor Harbron (38) and Daniel Hutson (15) added valuable runs.

Boston captain Damo Lawson took four wickets fore the loss of 46 runs, with Dan Fox adding three victims and Ben Troops two.

Boston were dismissed for 149, Rowan Evans (45), Tom Poole (21), Lawson (15), Jack Tetther (13), Fox (11) and Jo Gilbert (10) reaching double figures.

Scott Tite and Max Lorimer took three wickets apiece with Conor Harbron adding two.

Boston Thirds were beaten by 127 runs when they hosted Heckington in the SLBL Division One.

Heckington posted 232 for 5, with Steve Scott (123 not out) and Will Charlesworth (59) doing most of the damage.

John Morris took three wickets.

Liam Maskell (38) was the pick of the batsmen as Boston were dismissed for 105.

Damon Tunnicliffe and Rob Townsend each took three wickets.
