CYCLING: Velo-One pair finish second in LRRA TT at Sleaford

The LRRA (Lincolnshire Road Riding Association) was formed in 1912, made up from cycling clubs from around the county.

The association promotes a number of time trial events throughout the season and this weekend was the first event of the year – the two-up team time trial.

Hosted by Sleaford Wheelers on a grippy 30km Osbournby to Spittlegate course, rider pairings set off in two minute intervals, with the aim of working together to deliver the fastest possible time.

Lincs-based Velo-One Cycling Team entered three pairings, with their hard efforts rewarded with a second place in the overall club standings.

Results: Nick Millward & Justin Parr 48min 57sec, David Anderson & Scott Francis 49.16, Nigel Clare & Dan Carr 50.40.

Velo-One will be looking to go one better at the LRRA 10 Mile Championship on May 22.
