Club founder and manager Richard Mallett has formed a committee in an attempt to bring off-field professionalism to the club, along with success on the pitch.

His first step this summer was to work on the club’s financial background, enlisting further help from tracksuit sponsors ABC Accounting.

The local firm now manage Town’s books and are represented on the committee byowner Belinda Darley and Michelle Chapman

Landlord of The Elm Cottage Dave Andrews then got on board, bringing experience of managing Brigg Town and Bottesford Town, and offering his pub as a meeting point for the club on match days.

Local teacher John Anderson will take the role of club secretary, helped on match days by Leigh Burgess and Gordon Nicol.

Ben Noble will continue to help Mallett, with Steven Hutchinson joining them in the management of the club as he goes through his coaching badges.

Groundsman Ken Kill and press officer Craig Lill will continue in their roles.

Mallett said he was proud of the success already achieved, and excited about his club’s potential.

“After last year’s outstanding success, securing the runner’s up position in the Lincolnshire League, semi-finalists in the League Cup and beaten finalists in the Lincolnshire County Cup, the club and players can be justifiably proud of what we have achieved and there is no reason why they can’t aim to surpass that this season.”

Town are on the lookout for sponsors, and anyone interested can contact Richard Mallett via The Elm Cottage.
