Jay Rollins has called on the Boston United fans to come out in numbers and help cheer the Pilgrims into the FA Cup’s third round.

The club captain praised the near-1,000 travelling supporters who made their way to Spotland for the goalless draw at Rochdale last Sunday.

And he is hoping they can find their voices again for Monday’s replay, making York Street an intimidating atmosphere for the League One visitors.

“They’ve made a massive difference for us,” Rollins said.

“They were absolutely brilliant and kept us going.

“We need them again back in the stadium, and as loud as that again.

“They really help us out there.”
