Louth are off the mark in new league with point at Radford
Louth Town secured their first point in the UCL Division One in Saturday's 0-0 away draw at Radford.
The White Wolves have moved leagues this season and had lost 1-0 in their opener at home to a Sandiacre Town sucker punch the weekend before.

But on Saturday they battled hard on a difficult surface and boss Carl Martin said: “It was a first point and a clean sheet, so we are up and running.
“It was good to get a point away from home as well, though we did have three or four gilt-edged chances so we were a bit disappointed not to take all three.
“The playing surface left a lot to be desired with the recent lack of rain.
“It did not suit our style – it was absolutely horrendous and mostly just dust, but that's no excuse as it was the same for both teams.
“Defensively we looked really strong and limited them to almost nothing.
“We just needed a bit of Lady Luck or the ball to bounce for us in the other box.
“We also need to be more careful with our final pass. But we look to be on the right track.”
Martin is still looking to add to his squad and said: “We are still looking to strengthen our squad and we have a couple of things going on at the moment.
“We are hoping we can get a few duel signings in and we are speaking to a couple of clubs.
“We are just waiting to see who becomes available.”
After a scheduled midweek home clash with Harrowby United they will host Clifton All Whites this coming Saturday.
