Minute's applause for stalwart before East Lincs Football Combination resumed action

The East Lincs Football Combination got underway again on Saturday.

Matches in all three divisions were played for the first time since October 31.

Prior to kick off teams held a minute’s applause in memory of former referee and league vice-president Albany Jordan.

In the Spectrum Print Division One, Cleethorpes Town A left Alford Town with a 2-1 victory.

The same result saw Louth Old Boys victorious at Keelby United Reserves.

Louth Town Reserves thrashed Grimsby Borough Development A 6-1 and North Somercotes United won 2-0 against AFC Holton Le Clay.

In the Philip Jackson Division Two, Marsh Rovers beat Louth Old Boys Development 2-0 and Scamblesby left North Cotes with a 2-1 success.

Suttom Rovers won 4-2 at North Thoresby in a game which saw the sides level 1-1 at the break.

North Somercotes United Reserves hit seven in the Brian Todd Homes Division Three.

They won 7-1 at Alford Town Reserves.

Elsewhere, AFC Grainthorpe won 2-1 against Market Rasen Town and Louth Town Cogs left Louth Old Boys FC Vets with a 5-1 win.
