Harding claims Lakes success

With the weather warming up, the fish are on the move and looking for some grub.

Brian Harding (Bait-Tech) showed everyone how it was done on Swallow Lake, fishing maggots at 14.5m to catch a mixed bag on peg five to take the win with 82lb 2oz.

In second place was Rick Tweddle (Bait-Tech) from peg 11 with 51lb 12oz.

Not far behind in third was Neil Hallett (Westwood Lakes) from peg four with 50lb 4oz.

Thursday’s Over 50s Open Match was won by John Taylor.

On Falcon Lake, 33 anglers took part.

Taylor is certainly on a roll and this time won from peg on as he brought in 106lbs.

In second was Neil Hallett on peg 23 with 105lbs 12oz.

Third was Steve Lane at peg 12 with 92lbs 8oz.

The Sunday Open was held on Skylark Lake.

From the 14 anglers, Adam Swain won on peg 25 with 154lbs 8oz.

In second was Mark Cree at peg 27 with 126lbs 4oz.

In third was Steve Lane at peg seven with 114lbs 4oz.
