HOCKEY: Leadenham teams keep clean sheets

All three Leadenham Hockey Club teams kept clean sheets with three straight victories at the weekend.

In the Men’s East League 3NW, Leadenham’s first team triumphed 4-0 at Spalding 3rd.

Jack Ashton bagged a hat trick and Sam Macallister was the other scorer.

The men’s second string beat Long Sutton 3rd 2-0 away in the East League 6NW.

Goal scorers were Jason Tholen and James Ireland.

Playing at home, Leadenham ladies recorded a 5-0 win over Louth in the East League 4NW.

Katie Ireland scored a hat trick whilst the other goals came from Zoe Dunnett and Flo Ireland.
