Horncastle Bowls Club gala proves to be a success again

Horncastle Indoor Bowls club hosted their annual Bowls Gala and Craft Fair in aid of Cancer Research, and once again it was a great success.

The event, run by George Lancaster and Neil Rodgers, saw 20 teams of three come together from around the county to compete for the annual title, sponsored Spinky Signs and HIBC.

The day raised in excess of £900 for Cancer research.

This year’s winners were K. Argent with Mr & Mrs Thomas.

The runners-up were J. Scholey, J. Brown and M. Brown with N. Burton, P. Ulyatt and S. Alison third.
