Louth Snooker League: Conservative Club leaders held

In Louth Billiards and Snooker League's Jubilee Knock-out, Louth Building Supplies stayed top of the Town and Country group after a 7-5 win at GRS Electrical Services.

Tom Williams, Dan Parkes and Ben Chapman won for the visitors while Will Harrison and Ian Winn replied for the hosts. Top Lads lie second after drawing 6-6 at Louth Travel Centre thanks to Sam Mountain and Will Blythe, but Terry Robinson and Brian Copeland denied the visitors the win.

NT Shaw Citroen drew with Sibjon Builders, Lee Cook winning for hosts and Anthony Pridgeon answering back.

* In the Conservative Club group, leaders Wilbuck Scaffolding drew 6-6 with Harness and Cooper Joiners

Graham Wilson put Wilbuck Scaffolding in front only for Andy Dunn to draw his team level. In this week’s other game, Kitchen Solutions beat Dales Poultry and Game 8-4 with Chris Dalton, Mark Wordley and Chris Parker all winning, while Luke Howard’s two frames put a more respectable tint on the scoreline.

* In the Billiards Knock-out New Team lead the way after a fine 3-0 win against Naulls and Dales with Warren Smith, Henry McSpadden and Tom Garlic all winning.

Up to third are Moran Travel after winning 2-1 against Marris Carpets, Ray Charlton and Keith Sowter both winning, while Mark Parrinder replied for the visitors.

ABC Riding Wear beat MA Stephensons Autos 2-1 with Kev Fenwick and Terry Espin both winning and Chris Dixon pulling one back for the visitors.
