Ben Wilson returns to England to undergo further operation following North West 200 crash

The Kirton rider crashed at Northern Ireland’s North West 200 on Tuesday during practice.

He had a compound break to his femur and underwent a five-hour operation to clean the wound and stabilise his leg that evening.

He will now undergo another op in England.

Wilson is having to fund the air ambulance transfer himself so his family and team are planningto set up a JustGiving page and they will also have buckets at their awning in the pits at the North West.
