Oglesbee leads way on Falcon Lake

Twenty-two anglers took to Falcon Lake.

With the weather all of a sudden warming up, there was a good turn out.

Oglesbee (Westwood Lakes) was the man to beat, catching f1s and carp to win the match from peg 32 with 57lb 8oz.

Not Far behind was Richard Kinersley (Coopers Tackle) from peg 34 with 55lb 2oz.

Then in joint third were Brian Harding (Bait-Tech) and Roy Taylor (Westwood Lakes) with 55lb 0oz from peg 16 and 36.

Results: 1 Paul Oglesbee (Westwood Lakes) peg 32, 57lb 8oz, 2 Richard Kinersley (Coopers Tackle) peg 34, 55lb 2oz; 3= Brian Harding (Bait-Tech), Roy Taylor (Westwood Lakes) peg 36, 55lb 0oz.

The previous week’s Over 50s Open was won by John Taylor.

Twenty anglers competed on Swallow Lake.

Results: 1 John Taylor (Sensas Mark One) peg 16, 49lb 0oz; 2 Paul Oglesbee (Westwood Lakes) peg 24, 35lb 8oz; 3 John Crouch (Westwood Lakes) peg 4 28lb 10oz.
