Alfie Cartwright ready to get back on track

Young kart racer Alfie Cartwright is preparing for his second season racing in the Honda Cadet class at Woodthorpe Kart Club.

The nine-year-old has secured sponsorship from Lovelle estate agency in Mablethorpe and Lincs Signs.

Alfie, who lives in Mablethorpe, has been very lucky as last year his kart was purchased as a gift to him from friends Alison and Chris Green who love to watch the kids racing and used to support Alfie when he was driving in the Bambino category.

The first two rounds at Woodthorpe have been cancelled due to falling during lockdown, but round three will take place on April 24 and 25.
