Royle approval for Jacqui following her medal event win

Sixteen members from Boston Golf Club’s Ladies’ Section set out in the hope of lifting this cup.

Nora Royle, a very keen golfer, preferred a medal competition, and with the presentation of her trophy for over 60s members, tea and cakes became a tradition.

And to this day it is a welcome consolation for most players.

Jacqui was first with a score of 89-19=70 nett.

Margaret Hardy, with 98-24=74 nett, was the runner-up while third went to Pat Couture with 95-20=75 nett.
