Scramble joy for quartet

Boston Golf Club's Seniors' and Ladies' sections played together in teams of four to start off the golf season.

Eleven teams made up of two ladies and two men played a Texas Scramble.

The winning team of Ray Smith, Dave Hodgson, Yvonne Wright and Pam King came in with 54.5.

The runners-up were Malcolm Hyde, Fred Calvert, Ruth Simpson and Kay Kadzionis with 54.6.

The day was made more enjoyable with half way refreshments and, on completion, sausage and mash.
