The Snooker Farm Super League

This week saw the anticipated showdown at the top of the league between BSC 1 and Shodfriars 20, who could not be separated as the game ended in a 4-4 draw.

Darren Christian beat Sean Swinburn, Craig Fitter then levelled it by beating Carl Rowe. Tom Hill and Joe Welch drew with Graham Cripsey and Bren Bowman respectively.

BSC 19 continue to scrap to stay in the league, this week recording only their third win of the season by beating BSC 13, 6-2. Will Tyson defeated Craig Elding and Robin Alexander beat Adam Cartwright, before Luke Christian and Mario Richards drew, as did Nick Harwood and Adam Brackenbury.

BSC 2 recorded the same scoreline in beating BSC 12, with Gary Charlton defeating Graham Day, Lee Ford winning against Simon Wood. Danny Newton and Ian Satchwell drew, as did Grant Marshall and Alan Laws.

BSC 3 also won 6-2, in their game against BSC 4.

Chris Ellis and Craig Lee drew, Neil Hutson beat Danny Horgan and Nigel Robinson beat Barry Cox.

Biggest breaks: J.Welch 41 and 40.

Lincolnshire Handyman Premier League

Cons 1 and BSC 8 drew 4-4, with Paul Revell beating Ian Dallywaters and Charles Rolfe beating Steve Greensmith, to go four up. Shaun Dunmore and Adam Norton then defeated Paul Goodacre and Paul Tether to square the match.

BSC 9 recorded a big win, beating Shodfriars 3, 7-1, with victories for Chrissy Allwood against Dick Crunkhorn, Carl Manning against Jim Ely, and Paul Raymond against Colin Woodcock.

In the other game, Mark Ferguson and John Vines drew.

BSC 11 and Cons 2 drew their fixture, with all matches drawn.

Biggest breaks: M. Ferguson 40, C. Manning 32, P. Revell 24, G. Middleton 20, C. Rolfe 20.

Cotts Builders and Contractors Division One

BSC 16 went back to the top of Division One with a 6-2 win over BSC 5. Stan Matthews and Paul Oyitch drew, as did Andy Lawrence and Joseph Stocks. Dave Cutting beat Sam Dawson, and a walkover for Mick Marshall sealed the win.

Cons 5 beat BSC 7, 5-3.

Nathan Yardley and J.Pocklington drew, while Alan Haycock beat Chris Hirst. Bill Spooner and Adam Gurton also drew, as did Derek Wood and Craig Churchman.

Cons 4 beat BSC 6, 6-2. Stuart Richardson beat Gordon Russell, John Clark and Alan Traynor drew, as did Lee Clayton and Paul Argyle, and J.Traves defeated Mike Deal.

Biggest breaks: P.Oyitch 46, J.Clark 28, D.Cutting 25,23, P.Argyle 22, A.Traynor 22.

Sam Dawson Building Services Division Two

Cons 3 beat BSC 17, 5-3. D. Johnson and Jimmy Birtwhistle drew, Rob Carter beat D. Russell, Graham Johnson and Paul Leary drew, as did Scot Gray and Jim Hartley.

BSC 14 beat BSC 15, 6-2. Ben Wrigglesworth defeated Jamie Rushin, A. Robinson drew with Dave Cartwright, Chris Stancer beat Stu Holland, and Matt Povey drew with Ian Russell.

Kirton 2 and West End Bowls drew. Nathan Cock was beaten by R. Mason, Shaun Thompson beat D. Green, Dan Thompson defeated Macauley Woods and G. Hallgarth was beaten by C. Mason.
