Trio of teams in 17-mile time trial event

Just three teams turned out on a rainy Tuesday evening, for Trent Valley Road Cycling Club’s 17-mile two-up team time trial.

It was held on the Laughton, Susworth, Morton circuit.

And it was tough going for the teams, as they faced a headwind on the long leg from Susworth to Morton.

But despite this, a respectable time was achieved by winning pair Shaun and Paul Pycroft, coming home in 44mins 22secs.
