Velo-One claim the team title

Saturday was The Lincolnshire Road Riding Association's 50-Mile TT Championships, hosted by Sleaford Wheelers.

The C50/5 course was chosen for the event, taking in the undulating A52 between Donington and Spittlegate Roundabout.

One of the longer time trials of the year, coupled with changing weather conditions, promised to test all of the 49 riders’ strength and endurance.

In the individual standings, Alex Coleman from Arrow Cycles took the event posting a a time of 1hr 48mins 15secs.

Second and third on the steps were Velo-One Cycling’s Neil Palmer and Antony Gough, posting times of 1 hr 53 mins 36 secs and 1 hr 55 min 32 secs respectively.

Velo-One’s Earl Taylor and Dan Carr also took part, finishing 12th (2 hrs 3 mins 26 secs) and 30th (2 hr 17 mins 58 secs) respectively.

The fastest three combined rider times determined the team award with Velo-One Cycling taking the win.

The next LRRA event is the 25-Mile TT Championship which will be held on August 21.
