Reuseabox passes 15 million boxes reused, saving nearly 21,000 tonnes of CO2e
The Lincoln based B Corp has reused 1.79 million boxes in 2026 so far.

Reuseabox, the B Corp certified circular economy packaging business based in Lincoln, has now helped UK businesses reuse more than 15 million cardboard boxes since it was founded in 2015.
Reuseabox announced it had passed 10 million boxes in January 2025, as it celebrated its 10th anniversary. Since then, more than four million more boxes have been collected, quality checked and sent back out to businesses that need them, including 1.79 million in the first nine months of 2026.
Reuseabox collects surplus and used cardboard boxes from businesses, most of them FMCG manufacturers, and quality checks them at its Lincolnshire warehouse before reselling them to businesses that need packaging. Every box that goes back into use is a box that doesn't need to be made new, and it stays in circulation for longer instead of going straight for recycling.
Using the first of its kind and verified Environmental Calculator Tool, developed with the University of Lincoln and independent environmental consultants, Reuseabox estimates that reusing more than 15 million boxes rather than recycling them has saved:
73,452 trees
20,952 tonnes of carbon
351.8 million kWh of energy
4.27 billion litres of water
Jack Good, Founder of Reuseabox, said: “15 million boxes is a huge number, but every one of them started with a business deciding to do things a bit differently. Recycling has its place, but reuse comes first. The most sustainable box is the one that already exists, and this milestone shows just how many businesses agree.
“This number belongs to every supplier who sends us their boxes and every customer who chooses used over new. It also belongs to our team, who handle every single one of those boxes. We’re already on our way to the twenty million boxes reused.”
