Soho Dukes - from Sussex to Scandinavia
The last twenty four months have seen Soho Dukes explode on to the UK music scene. In fact it has taken a little long than that but this is rock and roll and things can get a it hazy. Nonetheless, the release of three critically acclaimed albums and a hit video single featuring Spike from the Quireboys is not bad going. Their wide musical appeal has also opened ears and eyes in Europe and Scandinavia and they are set for some festival shows across the water next year.

In the meantime they have a lot of work to get through over here before they can tuck into their Christmas lunch - if they are still awake. October and November see Soho Dukes heading out on two UK tours with the Quireboys followed by another with Dogs D'Amour. From Glasgow to Hastings, before heading over to Sweden and Finland in the Spring, they bring their unique style of theatrical rock swagger to a local venue.. check www.sohodukes.com
Soho Dukes are delighted to be out touring again. "We were keen to get back out on the road and are very pleased to secure these dates. It is great to be going back to places that we played last year and there are lots of new areas that we have not been to before." says Johhny Barracuda lead vocalist.
Bass player Mark 'Bomber' Randon looks forward to the imminent release of the eagerly awaited live album on 4th September. "We had recorded several nights on last full UK tour and one show in particularly captured the atmosphere and energy of both the band and the audience. We have kept the original sound and made minimal adjustments - it is a live show after all"
'After the success on stage of tracks from the 'Nighthawks and Acrobats' album it was something that everyone wanted to hear and we felt the time was right " agree Si Leach and Col 'The Duke' Foster guitarists with the band.
The 'Don't Spare the Horses' live album was recorded at Esquires Bedford which is fast becoming the 'in place' to record live performances due to it's excellent sound quality. The album is available from https://sohodukes.com/live-album-release-september-2026-pre-orders-available/
