'Impossible to miss' - Giant inflatable duck coming to Boston, bringing chance to win UK hotel breaks
A spec-quack-ular visitor will be arriving in Boston next month, giving residents the chance to win a series of UK hotel breaks.
The giant inflatable duck will be in town as part of a nationwide road trip organised by the Boston-based Coaching Inn Group.

Dubbed the Wish You Were Here Road Trip, the summer-long campaign aims to encourage people to explore more of the UK and discover some of the country’s most characterful destinations.
Visitors to the roadtrip have the chance to win 12 weekend dinner-bed and breakfast breaks at Coaching Inn Group hotels across England and Wales, plus a range of giveaways on the day, including complimentary food and drink, overnight stays and exclusive vouchers redeemable at Coaching Inn Group hotels.

The roadtrip – and its larger-than-life, air-filled figurehead – will come to Boston on Wednesday, September 9.
It will be based near The White Hart Hotel, in High Street, from 11am to 2pm.
Visitors will be able to enter the road trip’s headline competition, try their luck at winning an instant prize, and take selfies with the winged wonder in their midst.
White Hart general manager Luke Laura Tunnard said: “We're delighted to be bringing the Wish You Were Here Road Trip to our town.
“This is all about celebrating summer, supporting local towns and giving people the chance to win some fantastic prizes.
“The giant duck is impossible to miss, and we're looking forward to welcoming local residents and visitors for what promises to be a fun day."
The Coaching Inn Group operates 43 historic inns across England and Wales – including the White Hart – and is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026.
The group was recently recognised as a Which? Recommended Provider for Hotels.
The road trip is free to attend.
