Vehicle repair centre in Skegness celebrates double success

A vehicle repair centre in Skegness is celebrating a double success after receiving recognition for both the quality of its repairs and the service it delivers to customers.

Fix Auto Skegness has recently been presented with the Customer Service Award at the annual Fix Auto UK National Conference before successfully completing an unannounced ‘BSI 10125 Kitemark audit’ with zero non-conformances - an achievement that demonstrates the consistently high standards maintained by the business.

A spokesperson for the company said: “While the two recognitions celebrate different aspects of the company, together they reflect the same commitment to doing the job properly and putting customers first. The BSI 10125 Kitemark is widely recognised as the benchmark for quality in vehicle body repair.

“During an unannounced inspection, auditors assess every aspect of the repair process, from workshop procedures and equipment to staff training, competence and quality control. Achieving the standard with no non-conformances is a significant endorsement of the team’s day-to-day commitment to quality and safety.”

The Customer Service Award, presented at the Fix Auto UK National Conference, recognises repair centres that consistently go the extra mile for their customers, from the first phone call through to handing back repaired vehicles.

Peter Chapman, Director at Fix Auto Skegness, said: "We’re incredibly proud of what the team has achieved. Passing an unannounced BSI audit with zero non-conformances is a fantastic result because it reflects the standards we work to every single day, not just when someone is watching. To also receive a national award for customer service makes it even more special, as it recognises the care and support we aim to provide throughout the entire repair journey.”

His brother, Joe Chapman, Director at Fix Auto Skegness, added: “These achievements belong to every member of the team. Everyone plays their part, and it’s great to see that hard work recognised. We have always believed that looking after our customers starts with doing every repair to the very highest standard, and these two recognitions show that commitment in action.

“As a local business, we’re proud to be providing motorists across Skegness and the surrounding area with repairs they can trust.”

For customers, the recognitions offer reassurance their vehicle is being repaired by a team committed to technical excellence and outstanding customer care. They also reflect Fix Auto Skegness’ continued investment in its people, equipment and repair processes to ensure vehicles are returned safely and to the highest possible standard.
