Jean, a resident at Newton House has always been very fond of owls and as part of the wish initiative at Newton house care home, the activities team were overjoyed to make Jeans wish come true.
Jean has lived at Newton House for numerous years and is very much loved by staff and residents alike. The activities team at the home were delighted to be a part of making her dream come true, as they knew how much it meant to her, and they couldn’t wait to see the smile on Jeans face.
The team found out about Jeans wish during their monthly activities meeting at Newton House, and were overjoyed to be able to facilitate this as owls had long been a heartfelt wish for her and on this unforgettable day, that wish finally took flight.
Jeans wish quickly became a magical moment for everyone, filling Newton House with laughter, joy, and awe of the most beautiful and majestic birds.
It was a wonderful reminder that listening to wishes matters, because sometimes fulfilling just one wish can lift an entire community.
