World Book Day Costume Swap at Sleaford Library

Following the success of our Costume Swap Rail last year, Sleaford Library is bringing it back from 12th February to 5th March during normal library opening hours. Just bring along gently used past costumes to donate and swap for something ‘new to you’ for your child to wear this year.

The library will also have an 'Emergency Pack' available if you're up against it as the big day approaches.

The packs include simple and quick last-minute costume ideas that will transform your child’s everyday clothes into a character from a book. The Emergency Pack also includes recommended reads, chosen especially by library staff, to help you and your child find stories that truly capture their imagination and grow their love of reading.

Charlotte Harris, library manager at Sleaford Library said "We're so pleased to help parents and children with the challenge of World Book Day once again, if you need a book recommendation or character inspiration with sustainability in mind, then we look forward to welcoming you at Sleaford Library"
