Carre's students help dementia group

Several students from Carre's Grammar School went along to meet members and carers at a group meeting of Sleaford Dementia Support at St Denys' Church Room last Wednesday.

They visited the session to present a cheque for £1,600.

This was the amount the Year Eights raised from their school sponsored walk earlier in the school year.

Each year the group opts to raise funds for a different charity or good cause.

The boys met the organiser and volunteers along with members of the group. This enabled them to see where the money they had raised was being spent and gave them a chance to join in with some of the activities.
