Pupils’ Isle fundraiser a massive success

A fantastic sum of well over £600 was raised by a Big McMillan Cancer Coffee Morning in Wroot. The whole annual event was organised by Key Stage 2 children at Wroot Travis C of E Primary School, and was well supported. Music was provided by the South Axholme Academy Wind Band.

Headteacher Christine Cook said: “It was a wonderful effort. Pupils arranged everything from sending letters to parents requesting tombola prizes, to recruiting volunteers for making tea and coffee.”
