School pupils join in with Santa Dash

They donned festive outfits to take part in a variety of activities around the school.

Children skipped, walked, danced and laughed their way around the playground to Christmas music while enjoying the event.

A spokesperson for Butterwick School said: “Great fun was had by all, which I think you can see by the smiles in the photos!

“A total of 256 children took part, who had all made the effort to wear Santa and Christmas attire, resulting in them looking very festive.

“In such challenging times we believe that it is extremely important to focus on physical activity which promotes the health and wellbeing of our children.”
