TEN YEARS AGO: Alford Brownies stage charity fundraiser

The event was held at the town’s Methodist Church and raised funds for bat preservation – a cause chosen by the girls.
In all, £175 was raised on the day.
The event also helped the girls towards achieving their hostess badges.
