Sleaford All Knighters Scooter Club members gathered at the Jolly Scotchman pub in Holdingham, pulled on the red outfits and beards and cruised around the town centre before rolling up at Roxholm Hall Care Home to deliver mince pies and sherry, donated by the pub, to the grateful residents.

Rob Castle from the club said: “We only started the club in March and now have over 30 active riding members. Everyone does the Christmas toy and Easter egg runs but as far as I know no-one does the old folks’ homes, so we decided to do something different.

“Hopefully it will be bigger next year and we’ll go to a different home.”
