Marc Olley, 31, of Barcroft Street, Cleethorpes – previously of Mill Lane, Brigg – has pleaded not guilty to a string of charges, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court was told on November 24.

Magistrates heard how Mr Olley denies assaulting a woman by beating her in Scunthorpe on November 
4.

He also denies assaulting a man by beating him in Scunthorpe on November 
4.

And the court was told Mr Olly has pleaded not guilty to causing criminal damage to a black Doro mobile phone, to the value of £10.

This allegedly happened in Scunthorpe on November 4.

Mr Olley has been given conditional bail.

The case has been adjourned.

Christopher Parr

Christopher Parr, 45, of Mallard Way, Scawby Brook, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to drink driving, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard on November 26.

The court was told how Parr admitted driving a Vauxhall Movano panel van when he was almost double the legal limit.

A test showed Parr had 69 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the court heard.

The incident happened in Scawby Road, Scawby Brook on November 7.

Parr has been banned from driving for 16 months and fined £200.

He has been ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge, the court heard.

Benjamin Vipurs

Benjamin Vipurs, 28, of West Square, Brigg, has been jailed for 20 weeks, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on November 30.

The court was told how Vipurs pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Zafira in Victoria Street, Grimsby while he was banned from driving.

The incident happened on October 3.

Vipurs also admitted driving without insurance on this date.

The court was told how Vipurs had been subject to a suspended sentence order at the time of the driving offences.

The suspended sentence was given to Vipurs back on August 13 for driving while he was disqualified in Brigg on July 20, the court was told.

This was a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.

On November 30, the court heard how Vipurs has been also been sentenced to another driving - for 48 months.

He has been ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge and an £80 victim surcharge.

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan, 22, of Snelland Road, Wickenby, has pleaded not guilty to a single charge under the Criminal Justice Act, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on November 26.

The court was told how Mr Bryan has been accused of assaulting a man by beating him in Market Rasen on September 3.

He has denied this charge, the court hears.

Mr Bryan has been given conditional bail until February 26 when he is due to stand trial at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

The case has been adjourned.

Oliver Wright

Oliver Wright, 36, of Weldon Road, Hemswell, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the sex offenders’ register notification requirements, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on November 26.

The court was told how Wright failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the notification requirements under part two of the act, in that he failed to ‘re-notify within one year of his last notification’.

It happened between August 4 and 8 this year.

He has been fined £290 and ordered to pay a £180 criminal courts charge, £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £29 victim surcharge.

James Donnor

James Donnor, 21, of Nursery Close, Dunholme, has been fined after he pleaded guilty to a drugs charge, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on November 26.

The court was told how Donnor admitted having a quantity of class B drug cannabis in Lincoln on October 6.

He has been fined £60.

Donnor has been ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £20 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge.

An order was made under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act for the cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed, the court heard.

Paul Mobley

Paul Mobley, 31, of St Davids Road, Brookenby, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to drink driving, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on November 26.

The court heard how Mobley admitted driving a Vauxhall Vectra when he was more than one-and-a-half times over the legal limit.

A test showed Mobley had 58 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the court was told.

The incident happened in St Davids Road, Brookenby on October 23.

Mobley has been banned from driving for 14 months and fined £120.

He has been ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge and a £20 victim surcharge.
