Paul Fisher, 51, of Brand End Road, Butterwick. At The Bull and Dog, Freiston, assaulted another by beating them. Restraining order made. £400 fine. £600 compensation. £620 costs.

BLADED/POINTED ARTICLE

Egidijus Zurba, 22, of Barge Close, Spalding. At Boston, had with him, without good reason or lawful authority in a public place, namely High Street, an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely a kitchen knife. Committed to prison for three months, suspended for 12 months. £122 victim surcharge. £85 costs. At Boston, on a later date, failed without surrender to custody having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. £100 fine. Order made to deprive the defendant of his rights in relation to the kitchen knife.

Samuel Vince, 23, of Quadring Road, Donington. At Boston, in West Street, knowing that payment on the spot for a service provided, namely a journey in a licensed taxi, was required or expected from him, dishonestly made off without having paid and with intent to avoid payment of £22. Committed to prison for four weeks, suspended for 12 months. Three-month Exclusion Requirement: not to enter Boston, except to attend pre-arranged appointments with probation and the Department for Work and Pensions. Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. £100 compensation. At Boston, failed without reasonable cause to surrender to custody, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings. Committed to prison for two weeks, suspended for 12 months, to run concurrent to other terms. Requirements as above. Commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. No adjudication – dealt with for original offences: at Boston, stole toiletries to the value of £15.98 from Boston Supermarket; had, on the same date, in his possession a quantity of amphetamine – a class B drug; and stole, on an earlier date, two sets of headphones, three bars of chocolate, and one charger to the value of £63 from Asda. In each case, committed to prison for two weeks, suspended for 12 months, to run concurrent to other terms. Requirements as above. Conviction of an offence while a community order was in force. No adjudication – dealt with for original offence: at Boston, having entered as a trespasser a dwelling, namely a property in Skirbeck Gardens, stole therein a mobile telephone and clothing to an unknown value. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months. Requirements as above. Overall length of sentence: 12 weeks.

Bruno Almeida, 41, of Granville Street, Boston. At Boston, in Liquorpond Street, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath equalled 57 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. Legal limit 35mcg. £120 fine. £32 victim surcharge. £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Driving record endorsed.

Igor Sarev, 33, of Daisy Dale, Boston. At Boston, in Fishtoft Road, drove after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath equalled 62 microgrammes in 100 millilitres. THEFT

Saimonds Cubrevics, 32, of Wyberton West Road, Boston. At Boston, stole power tools to the value of £49.98 from The Range. £40 fine. £32 victim services. To be detained in the courthouse. Detention deemed served by reason of time already spent in custody.

Spencer Hughes, 31, of South Terrace, Boston. At Skegness, between October 17 and 25, stole eight packs of tuna to the value of £40 from Spar, stole chocolate to the value of £92 from Wilko, stole coffee to the value of £75 from Spar, stole meat and cheese to the value of £75 from Costcutter, stole meat to the value of £208.02 from M&S Simply Food, and stole washing powder to the value of £70 from Costcutter. In each case, committed to prison for one month, all to run consecutive to each other. Between the same dates, without reasonable excuse, entered Spar, Wilko, Costcutter, and M&S Simply Food, which he was prohibited from doing by a Criminal Behaviour Order – six counts in total. In each case, committed to prison for one month to run concurrent to other terms. At Boston, between November 10 and December 16, stole coffee and food items to the value of £60 from Lincolnshire Co-op, stole coffee, chocolates, and other food items to the value of £75 from Lincolnshire Co-op, stole steak and cheese to the value of £120 from Lincolnshire Co-op, stole meat to the value of £15 from Lincolnshire Co-op, stole whiskey to the value of £100 from Lincolnshire Co-op, stole meat and chocolates to the value of £50 from Lincolnshire Co-op, stole chocolates and Jack Daniels to the value of £110 from Lincolnshire Co-op, and stole cheese to the value of £50 from Lincolnshire Co-op, stole gin and whiskey to the value of £130 from Lincolnshire Co-op. In each case, committed to prison for two months, three to run consecutive to other terms, the remainder concurrently. At Boston, in South Terrace, on December 17, had in his possession a quantity of spice – a class B drug. Committed to prison for one week to run concurrent to other terms. Spice to be forfeited and destroyed. Overall length of sentence: 12 months. Compensation totalling £1,275.02.
