Man, 72, arrested for firearm offences as armed police called out to Boston
Armed police were called to a Boston address after reports of a man making threats with a weapon.
Lincolnshire Police said today that armed officer were involved in an operation that led to the arrest of a 72-year-old man.
The man was arrested at Fenside Road, Boston, on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
It followed a report to the police that the man had made threats with a weapon at a Boston address at 10.14 am on Sunday .
A force spokesperson said there were no reports of injuries.
