Police investigating after man injured in Horncastle

Emergency services - including Lincolnshire Police - were called to a street in Horncastle on Friday (April 30) after an incident involving a man in his 40s.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to an address in Brook Road, Horncastle, just after midday on Friday, April 30,
after reports of a man having been injured.

“On arrival officers found a man, aged in his 40s, who had an injury to the abdomen.

“He was not seriously injured.

“A local man, aged 44, was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has since been released under investigation.

“The enquiry continues.”
