UPDATED: Five arrested and one charged after burglary in progress reported in Boston

Five Boston men have now been arrested following a report of a burglary in progress on Lindis Road in the town on Sunday, February 21.

The men, aged 19, 19, 22, 26 and 27, allegedly threatened the occupants but nobody was harmed.

The 26-year-old man is Mindaugas Zajanckayskas of Pulvertoft Lane, Boston. He has been charged with possession of a firearm (ball bearing gun) with intent to cause fear of violence. He was remanded in custody to appear before Lincoln Magistrates this morning, Tuesday February 23.

It was subsequently been sent for trial at Lincoln Crown Court on March 29 and the defendant was remanded in custody.

In respect of the burglary all five men have been released on police bail to return to Boston Police Station at a later date when further enquiries have been carried out.
