New heritage signs erected in Crowle

Heritage signs have recently been installed in Crowle, thanks to the Crowle and Ealand Heritage Society.

The signs have been funded by a grant from Crowle and Ealand Town Council which enabled the society to install the initial seven signs at various locations around the town.

The society is applying for further funding with the intention of putting up more signs and interpretation boards.

The next Heritage Society meeting takes place on Thursday February 12 at 7.30pm at Crowle Community Hub when Bryan Longbone will talk on Down on the Axholme Farm.
