Ollerton woman caught over the limit after split with boyfriend

Sam Elizabeth Black, 21, of Dove Croft, admitted driving over the limit when she appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

A breath test revealed she had 66 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Black’s Renault Clio was stopped on Walesby Lane, in Ollerton, on July 22.

She told magistrates she went out with friends and had a lot to drink after splitting with her boyfriend.

She was banned for 18 months and fined £190. She was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.
