New homes - Is this real democracy?
There is one word that seems to be surrounding many planning applications these days; apathy.
Could it be that ordinary people are tired of being ignored by the officials, who make the final decision.
My wife and I have regularly complained about applications in Woodhall Spa, only to find some official (who probably has never visited our village) simply says yes.
Talking to other people, it seems to be a similar situation in most other towns and villages.
Local democracy? What rubbish.
