WI member Marian Rippin, left, with granddaughter Sarah Delgado and great-granddaughters Isabella (5) and Emelia (3). Sarah designed the poster. Sitting girl blowing dandelion hearts; each contains a wish the children spoke about with the family. A photo of the poster was also displayed to their fellow class mates at Ravendale Primary School for them to find out more about the subject.
They put displays of green hearts in all the Wolds villages where current members live - Brookenby, where the disused phone box was decorated, Kirmond-le-Mire, Binbrook - and also in Waltham, and Arksey, near Doncaster.
Show The Love is a national campaign launched by the Climate Coalition in 2015, which the WI is part of.
